I realize that today was not one of my better days. I don't think I accomplished nearly as much as I hoped to. I'm not sure what my reason was for not having the motivation to do a lot of things, but I just didn't! So I want to leave you guys with a blog from many photos. These photos are from my runs last week. I ran around the wonderful Cascades in Jackson, MI. I love this park. It's so peaceful, yet very convenient to get to. But in my fashion of not doing a whole lot today, I am going to leave just my photos for you.
ALSO, When I ran today, I decided not to take my camera(again with the laziness) and I missed a beautiful photo of two deer today down the falling waters trail. So I am going to try again this week and run down that trail to capture them!
Here's the pics. Thanks guys for still supporting me eventhough I was real lazy today:( I do enjoy these next photos. I think one of my best yet!!

The beautiful world
I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe fourth of July holiday. Also, I hope everyone said a little Thank you to all of the service men who have made this life possible for all of us.
As I was out running this morning in this very HOT and humid weather, I started thinking about all of the beautiful, amazing things this life has to offer all of us. As I was running, and dodging in and out of the sun trickling through the trees, I felt warmed. Not just because it is so hot outside, but by the fact the sun was able to shine on me for another day. After that, I shut my ipod off and just started to listen to the sounds, and really take in the sights of where I was running(Ella Sharp Park). Each bird, cricket, frog, etc, were out singing there praises for the day. It is truly amazing to think of what is beyond our understanding. If you are religious or not, you have to agree when you see that baby bird, that young deer, or just that flower bloom in the morning, there is something magical about it. That there is some great design out there that wants this world to be good and true.
So as I get out to start my day and do errands and get brought back to the world that is nasty and sometimes downright mean; I am going to try to remember my run this morning. That there is good in this world, and it is trying to reach into us and make us shine on. I propose to all of you following with this post, feel the magical and warmth this world and life does have to offer. Try to say hello to a stranger, help someone you normally wouldn't, or just be nice to someone you would have otherwise overlooked. This place we call our life and home, it can be beautiful, starting with us!
Todays photos come from Gaylord, where I was over the fourth with my family. Hope you enjoy!
