Well it has been a little bit hasn't it? I promise I haven't been totally skimpin on my running. I have been out there trying to get ready for this marathon, just not as many miles as I'd hope. So this week I've been doing so well and getting out there and running in our new neighborhood.
The last couple of weeks have been totally crazy for me. My fiance and I moved from our old home in Albion, to Jackson, MI. So luckily I was able to get the house in order and organized for the last two weeks. Now with everything mostly done, I have been getting out and working out. I was so happy to have a trail right by where I live now to go out on and run. It will definetly be helpful when I have to run that 20 mile run in a few months.
This week I wanted to ask a question and see if any followers are reading along with me. What is your driving passion to accomplish your life's dream? Is it a loved one, is it religious, or is it a deep burning to prove to yourself that you can do this! I sometimes think I have a small little boxer inside of me that just keeps going and going. Round after round, my inner little boxer keeps fighting along. Sometimes when I want to lay down and slack off, I hear this "thump, thump, thump" and it makes me want to work harder. She pushes me to get better and improve each day.
I want to leave you with this quote I got from a photographer that I absolutely love. Her name is Sandy Puc', www.sandypuc.com, go check out her website if you want to see a WONDERFUL photographer. She is a true mentor to me and a great teacher. But I was at one of her classes once and she had this quote and I totally love it. So I will leave you with this and then my photos for this week so far!
"What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it."
My new shoes...that have helped me starting to run more!! ahh it's like small clouds I run on:)
This last photo is by far my favorite this week! What do you guys think?

Keep up the good work Carrie. In the end it's how you look at - and how you feel about yourself that enables you to contribute to the others around you.
ReplyDeletehey cfree, just wanted you to know that i love the blog and what you're doing! i cant wait to see you soon. to answer your questions so far. the first one-whats my dream/passion? i dont know that i have a clear answer for this one yet. i think my biggest life dream though in a vague sense is to just live happily and be the best person i can be. Having what i see as success in all aspects of my life, friends/family/love/education/work/leisure/etc. The second question, the driving passion- I think for me, my passion has always been to make the most of the life ive been given. Try to see opportunities for positivity in everything (try being the key word). and i think the biggest reason i have developed a great passion to help others comes the knowledge that i have been dealt a pretty good hand in life. i think its my passion and duty to help others find the joy in their lives, and for me to give back. anyways, glad you are doing well! miss you and love you and cant wait to see you soon!!! congrats on the running and finding your dream/passion. im happy for ya cfreelander!
